Conspiracy Around ESPN Releasing The Women’s NCAA Bracket Last Night

Last night was the women’s selection show, scheduled for 7 pm. However if you tuned into Bracketology you got a glimpse of the women’s bracket when they were supposed to be talking about the men’s.

About an hour and some change after the big time mess up ESPN issued an apology:

In working with the NCAA to prepare for tonight’s Women’s Selection Special we received the bracket, similar to years past. In the midst of our preparation, the bracket was mistakenly posted on ESPNU. We deeply regret the error and extend our apology to the NCAA and the women’s basketball community. We will conduct a thorough review of our process to ensure it doesn’t happen in the future. We will now broadcast the full bracket at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN2, and the regularly-scheduled show on ESPN at 7 p.m.

Seems legit right, maybe not. What if this was no accident? Think about it. Would we be talking about the women’s bracket today if things went off without a hitch? No shot. That’s not a sex thing either it’s just the reality of the situation. The men’s tournament is the greatest sporting event in the planet.

This is such a great move. Leak the brackets and start the buzz. I would have never known UConn wasn’t a 1 seed before tonight. If you asked me what’s UConn’s record this year I would have just assumed like 32-0.

This has conspiracy theory written all over it. The earth is flat. We never landed on the moon. And now the women’s bracket theory from 2019. Don’t believe the lies. Stay woke people
