Floodlight Falls And Nearly Kills High School Football Referee And Player

Daily Mirror: Clarksville High School in Arksansas was hosting a football tournament on Saturday when the shocking incident happened.

The giant light pole was seen falling from height, narrowly avoiding the referee’s head and three other players as it struck the ground. The lighting rig was also seen smashing to the ground which would have killed anyone stood in its way.

Both the referee and one of the players were knocked to the floor though and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The official miraculously escaped with only a double-leg fracture, while one of the players sustained cuts to his head and legs as a result of the crash.

Holy shit. Scary stuff. When a double leg fracture is a happy story you know you’re dealing with some extreme event. Glad everyone is alright but a question I have. This turf looks really ice for a high school. Brand new if you will. Who is the ass hole that did the floodlights? That guy stinks at his job. Everything looks perfect but one guy fucked it all up.

Once again, glad everyone is safe. But still, fuck that guy.
