Welcome to the free agent frenzy. The legal tampering period will start today and then deals will become “official” on Wednesday.
Deals will become “official” is important to note. Never forget Frank Gore to the Eagles. Anything can happen. For instance, the Antonio Brown trade is technically not “official.”

We will keep this thread running and update the list when a player signs or news breaks.
Update: 3/14 5:30 PM
- Golden Tate Signs
This is a great move for Tate money wise, but he won’t be winning a Super Bowl any time soon. For the Giants it’s another head scratching move. I thought they were rebuilding after letting Landon Collins walk for nothing and trading Odell Beckham? I guess not. They also already have two very capable slot receivers in Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram and now way overpaid for another. Disaster.
- Patriots doing Patriots things..
- 49ers add Verrett, Chiefs add Okafor
- Bears land Ha Ha
I really like this move. People are clearly down on Clinton-Dix but I still like him as a coverage safety. The Bears already stacked defense just got better. The Branded Chicago guys should be happy.
Update: 3/13 1 PM
- Golden Tate market heating up?
- Top guys left…
- The puzzling off-season in Dallas continues
- Seahawks make some moves
Update 3/13 9:40 Am
- Steelers sign AB’s replacement
This is a sneaky good signing. He’s certainly a downgrade from AB, but Moncrief is a guy that can play on the outside and stretch the field. He was a bit of a bust in Jacksonville last season but showed promise in Indy. He could be a fantasy sleeper in 2019.
Update: 3/13 5:50 PM
- Tevin Coleman signs with 49ers
He reunites with Kyle Shanahan in San Fran. The Eagles will have to look elsewhere.
- Bridgewater/Saints deal not done, he’s visiting Miami
Update: 3/13 3:07 PM
- AP back in Washington
Update 3/13 2:00 PM
- Raiders land another weapon for Derek Carr
Gruden loves loading up on wide receivers. Williams is a big time deep threat (averaged 15.9 YPC in 2018) and should be a nice compliment to Antonio Brown. Williams was our 2nd ranked WR. On paper, the Raiders offense looks a lot better than it did a few weeks ago.
Update: 3/13 1:45 PM
- Colts re-sign Pierre Desir after a solid 2018
- Pats re-sign McCourty
- Chargers sign Tyrod Taylor
Update: 3/13 12:26 PM
- Ravens making moves
The Ravens are having a strange off-season but I like both of these moves. The Inrgam move was expected. He is a great fit and will finally solve their RB issues for the short-term. The Thomas move came out of nowhere, but he is an upgrade from Eric Weddle and gives them a veteran presence after losing Terrell Suggs.
Update: 3/13 11:20 AM
- Earl Thomas not signing with the Browns
Shortly after the Odell news broke there were rumors flying that the Browns were closing in on a deal with Thomas, but according to Garafolo it’s not to be. The Browns are still having a tremendous off-season, and they still have money to play with. We’ll see where Earl Thomas ends up, San Fran and Dallas and have been rumored.
Update: 3/13 12:22 AM
- Le’Veon to the Jets
And there it is. At least one New York fan-base is happy. This made all the sense in the world. They had the money and the need. Putting weapons around Darnold was their # 1 priority, and they have done just that. Mosley, Bell and Crowder is a monster (and pricey) start to the off-season. Jets fans can rejoice… for now at least.
We should see the rest of the top-mid tier RBs sign soon. Ingram to the Ravens? Coleman to the Eagles? Both would make a lot of sense.
update: 3/12 9:20 PM
- The Browns aren’t messing around
WOW. On paper the Browns are absolutely loaded. Expectations will be sky high for the first time in a long time in Cleveland. There is no reason to believe that this won’t be at least a playoff team in 2019.
- Perriman wants out? Don’t think the Browns will care.
- Dee Ford traded to the 49ers
The 49ers add Ford and Kwon Alexander. They look good on defense, but their offense still needs some work.
- Pittsburgh adds a corner
- Bears add more speed
- Cardinals sign Brett Hundley. Backup for Kyler Murray?
- Titans remain active
Update: 3/12 5:30 PM
- Panthers sign a center
Paradis was our third ranked lineman. He’a very solid addition for Cam and McCaffrey.
- Bucs fill hole at MLB
Update: 3/12 4 PM
- Titans bolster their line
Update: 3/12 3:40 PM
- Texans continue to improve their secondary
Roby has talent. A 1-year prove it deal in a good defensive system is a smart decision. He was our second ranked free agent corner. The Texans are revamping their leaky secondary.
- Giants sign a safety
It’s a pretty underwhelming signing considering the guy they lost and the talent that was and is still available at the position. He’ll at least provide a veteran presence.
Update: 3/12 3:30 PM
- Ingram/Ravens “close”
Update: 3/12 2:30 PM
- Deadline for Bell, Ravens the favorite for Ingram?
Maybe the Jets feel that they don’t want to be left at the alter again?
I don’t fully buy the “deadline” but if this is true maybe they will move on to another option like Tevin Coleman.
Ingram would be a really good fit in Baltimore. We’ll see what happens with Bell first. Feels like it’s… Bell or Coleman for the Jets and Bell or Ingram for the Ravens. Of course it’s also possible that a mystery team comes in for Bell (Raiders? Texans? 49ers? Eagles?)
Update: 3/12 1:40 Pm
- Jets or Ravens for Bell?
For entertainment purposes it would be fun to watch Bell on the Ravens and play the Steelers twice a year. But the Jets make more sense, especially after losing out on Anthony Barr. However, the Ravens have lost Cj Mosley, Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith already and they have a major need at running back. Adding Bell would help ease the pain and finally solve their RB position. Tevin Coleman could be a fall back for the Jets and it makes sense that Mark Ingram would be a fallback for the Ravens. The Eagles could scoop up whoever is left after that.
Update: 3/12 12:50 pm
- Anthony Barr not signing with the Jets.
We told you in the beginning of this thread that NOTHING IS OFFICIAL!! This is a prime example. Barr was “signing with the Jets” but now it seems he is headed back to Minnesota. Reminder: deals aren’t 100 percent official until tomorrow!
- Bills aren’t done yet
The Bills are ACTIVE. This is a sad day for K Mess and Cowboys nation.
Update 3/12 12:45 PM
- Saints say goodbye to Ingram
This is a bit of a shocker. I don’t know what it says about Mark Ingram. Was he looking for too much money? Or is he spent? Very interesting.
- Hicks moves on
Hicks can’t stay healthy, but when he does he is productive. He leaves behind a big hole in the middle of the Eagles d.
- Bills add a burner
Another sneaky good move by the Bills. Brown had a solid season in 2018 although he faded a bit down the stretch. The Bills need as many weapons around Josh Allen as possible.
Update: 3/12 11:40 AM
- Go Pack Go
It’s about time they spend some money. The Packers are completely revamping their defense. They have now signed the 2nd and 4th ranked edge rushers on our list and the 4th ranked safety. Smith has big time upside and is a major loss for the Redskins.
- Thomas Davis lands in LA
Real good move for a Chargers team that is thinking Super Bowl. Terrell Suggs and Thomas Davis will both be on different teams next season. Wild.
Update: 3/12 9:53 AM
- Texans sign a safety
- RB market heating up?
The running back market has been pretty quiet thus far… that should probably change by the end of the day. The Jets have spent a ton of money but should still be able to squeeze in Le’Veon Bell. The Texans should be the team that goes after Bell. Watson-Hopkins-Bell is scary. Colts have the need, but will they spend? The Ravens have already lost three core defensive players, maybe Bell would help ease the pain.
Update: 3/12 9:47 AM
- Saints re-sign Teddy Bridgewater
Bridgewater probably would have had a chance to start in Miami, but he (wisely) chooses to stay with Sean Payton and the Saints rather than a no win situation with the Dolphins. He can now be Drew Brees’ heir apparent. Nice move by the Saints.
Update: 3/12 9:15 Am
- Packers make two moves
The Packers are finally spending some money. After trading Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (who is currently a free agent) they land his replacement and upgrade the position. They also needed to add a pass rusher badly and got a guy who had 8.5 sacks last season and is only 26 years old.
Side note: the Ravens have lost Mosley, Smith and Terrell Suggs. Yikes.
Update: 3/12 8:00 Am
- Jets land a big fish
The Jets have a ton of money and they’re using it. Cj Mosley is a monster upgrade. They not have Signed Anthony Barr Jamison Crowder, and Mosley. $$$
- Bowns bolster their d-line
This isn’t your fathers Cleveland Browns. Richardson joins a very talented group in Cleveland and leaves behind a big hole in Minnesota. The Browns still have plenty of money to work with.
Update: 3/11 11:30 PM
- Jets land Anthony Barr
- Broncos make two moves
Jackson is a nice veteran add, but James is the big news here. The 26 year old right tackle has talent and fills a major need. The Broncos need to do everything they can to keep Joe Flacco upright.
- The Raiders won’t quit
- RB rumors…
The Jets still have a ton of money and Bell makes a ton of sense for them as they continue to put as many weapons around Sam Darnold as possible. Tevin Coleman could be their fallback option.
As far as Mark Ingram goes, Baltimore would be a good landing spot. The Ravens always have a revolving door at running back. Ingram would finally solidify the backfield.
Update: 3/11 7:35 PM
- Bears sign a RB
Interesting move. Davis fits Nagy’s system better than Jordan Howard. You have to wonder if this is a compliment to Howard or a replacement for Howard.
- Bills add a center
Morse was our fourth ranked o-lineman available. Another sneaky good move by the Bills.
- Andy Reid makes a BIG splash
Wow. Chiefs need defense in the worst way. Big move for the Super Bowl contending Chiefs and one that I like A LOT.
- Colts get Luck some help
Colts needed a compliment for TY Hilton and they have a ton of cap space. Frank Reich worked wonders with Eric Ebron in 2018, it will be interesting to see what he can get out of Funchess.
Update 3/11 6:50 PM
- Cardinals land Suggs
SUGGS who has spend his whole career is heading across the country to sign with the Arizona Cardinals. A team that had trouble getting to the QB last year just landed a vet that has been doing it his whole career. Suggs heads back to the state he played his college ball in.
Update 3/11 5:50 PM
- Titans land Adam Humphries
I like Humphries a lot. He had a monster end to the 2018 season. They have Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor on the outside and now Humphries in the slot. Very formidable.
Update: 3/11 5:35 PM
- Bills sign a tight end
Kroft goes from Cincinnati to Buffalo. I low key like this move. Josh Allen needs more targets.
Update: 3/11 5:15 PM
- DeSean is an Eagle
We’ll see what they do with his contract, (possibly a new deal?) but the Eagles have brought home one of the best deep threats in the game. DeSean fills a major need and should open up the entire offense.
- Eagles decline Wisniewski’s option
Saves the Eagles some money. They will need to continue to add depth to the o line through the draft.
Update: 3/11 4:45 PM
- Jets get Darnold a weapon
The Jets need to surround Sam Darnold with as many weapons as possible. Crowder is solid slot receiver, he just needs to stay on the field.
- Nick Foles is a Jaguar
It was inevitable. It’s a perfect fit for Foles and the Jags. Good for Nick. The only thing that would have been better is if the Eagles could have got a 2019 pick, but they will now land a top comp pick for 2020.
- Lions are ACTIVE
- Frank Gore gets a deal
- Titans add a safety
Update: 3/11 3:20 PM
- Bengals re-sign their TE
- Lions continue to be active
Flowers is the top edge rusher on our list. He’s another player familiar with Patricia’s system and should be a big upgrade. The Lions aren’t messing around, they are spending a ton of money in the early going of free agency.
Update: 3/11 3:15 PM
- Landon Collins staying in the NFC East
The Giants are either going to look really smart or really dumb. Landon Collins is staying within the division and fills a major need for the Redskins. Washington is never shy about spending money in free agency, and it looks like they will once again land a top free agent. Big move.
Update: 3/11 2:55 PM
- Foles to the Jags
I have been saying this for quite a while… it seems inevitable. It’s a really good fit for both Foles and the Jags. Foles also signed with Lululemon, so this should be a big week coming for the Super Bowl 52 MVP.
- Lions closing in on another move
Update 3/11 1:50 PM
- 49ers “intend” to sign Kwon Alexander
- Eagles/DeSean destined??
This would be a big get for the 49ers who are armed with a ton of cap space. Alexander is coming off an ACL injury but is only 24 and crazy talented.
If/when DeSean is released the Eagles should be interested. They need a deep threat in the worst way. It’s been reported that DeSean wants to come back to Philly. This makes too much sense.
- Giants looking at a LB
Update: 3/11 1:10 PM
- Desean Jackson released??
If Desean is officially released he will crack our top-five available wide receivers list.
- Bills sign a corner
This would be a nice addition for an already solid defense. Johnson was released by Houston earlier this month.
Update: 3/11 12:10 PM
- Raiders make another move
Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden are wasting no time. The tampering period just opened 10 minutes ago and the Raiders are apparently already in agreement with the top offensive lineman available. Trent Brown had a solid post season run for the Pats. Belichick being fine with letting him walk would give me some pause for concern, but on the surface the Raiders get a solid, young left tackle that they desperately need.
Update: 3/11 11:50 AM
We have already seen some action today and the tampering period has yet to begin.
- Eagles sign Malik Jackson?
Malik Jackson's deal in Philly is expected to be for three years, $30 million — an average of $10 million per year, per source. https://t.co/z6twxnRWlW— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 11, 2019
The Eagles are in the market for a veteran d lineman. Jackson is solid against the run and is a very capable pass rusher (8 sacks in 2017). The price is a little steep, but the fit makes a lot of sense. The Eagles seem like they will be active. We will update once this becomes official. Look out for what they do with Jason Peters and Nelson Agholor. Howie Roseman might have more money to work with soon.
- Danny Amendola signs
I don’t know what Amendola has left but the Lions needed a slot receiver after trading Golden Tate. Matt Patricia knows him from their New England days and it makes sense for him to create some Patriot culture, or at least try to create some Patriot culture.
