Arizona has one of the best receivers in the game:
Trent Richardson scored again but the Birmingham Iron need to find some explosiveness if they want to keep their undefeated start alive.
There were over 20,000 fans that showed up to the San Diego Fleet first home game. That is a nice start for the franchise who gave their fans the first win in franchise history.
The Atlanta Legends are 0-2. QB Matt Sims is playing well with a 64% completion percentage. But their defense is struggling tremendously. They are averaging giving up 161 yards on the ground a game.
The best game of the weekend took place in San Antonio. The crowd showed up big for a second straight week. Even the old ball coach thought it was a hell of an atmosphere.
Spurrier claims the San Antonio Commanders crowd today was louder than Rocky Top ever was.

Even with the loss, San Antonio looks to be one of the top 3 teams in the league. The Apollos just may be the best team in the AAF.
Apollos QB Garrett Gilbert is leading the league in passing after two weeks. Against the Commanders this weekend Gilbert threw for 393 yards, leading the team to the 37-29 win.
Gilbert has 620 yards in two games. And Spurrier is happy with his QB’s big play ability.
