Love stories these days come in all different forms. America has never been more open to different sexualities which allows for all different forms of love and relationships to write the perfect rom-com type of happiness.
However, it’s not every day you hear a tale like the one of Jessica Share.
“When Jessica Share bought sperm from a sperm bank in order to start a family, she never imagined that more than a decade later she would meet the donor – and would feel a strong attraction to him.” – BBC
Former lesbian Jessica was with her ex-partner at the time that she took Aaron’s seed (the future lover and nerd in the glasses in the tweet above). Then, out of the blue, what seemed like a perfect life with two donor children between herself and her wife, turned on it’s head.
“But when the girls were one and three years old, my wife declared she was ending our relationship. There had been no conflict in our family, so I was shocked and heartbroken. She said she did not want to talk about it and there was nothing I could do to repair our marriage. I continued parenting the sisters five days a week for a few years. But when Alice was 10, my ex-partner blocked Alice on her phone, cut off all contact with her, and refused to return her younger sister following a vacation.” – BBC
The girlfriend in this story is never named, but we’ll call her Ulga because she’s clearly the bitch of this relationship. Ulga got our friend Jessica here to help her get through the shit years of having a kid and then just bounced. That’s such a power move, but at the same time probably the douchiest thing Ulga could’ve done.
From here Jessica finds her baby daddy and goes hetero to avoid the Ulgas of the world. Now they’re living happily ever after, but it never would’ve happened if it weren’t for sperm donor Aaron’s untouchable pick-up line to his baby mama.
“I had been dating a man for a few years who is also named Aaron David, with a similar last name. On our vacation, donor Aaron flirtatiously suggested there had been a mix-up at the Bureau of Boyfriends. I smiled and demurred.” – BBC
GODDAMN this man’s got game. No wonder he was spreading his seed around a sperm donation center. He knew his spawn would be natural born ballers with lines like that. I’d fall in love with him if he hit me with that line.
This is a true modern day love story. I can’t wait for Jennifer Aniston to play Jessica in a couple years in her latest rom-com hit. So keep an eye out for “Swapping Sperm: A Love Story” coming to theaters near you in 2021.
