So today we got a fantastic look at the upcoming sequel to 2014’s “Godzilla”, and damn did this trailer deliver! Directed by Michael Dougherty, “Godzilla: King of Monsters”, takes place 5 years after the initial film and looks promising to say the least. This film has a great cast lead by two talented ladies from two of my favorite shows, Millie Bobbie Brown from “Stranger Things” and Vera Farmiga from “Bates Motel”. That, paired with some bad ass Titans/special effects, will hopefully be key ingredients in the recipe for an amazing summer blockbuster.
There is an all-out war brewing with Godzilla taking on the likes of Rodan, Mothra, and the three headed King Ghidorah (all of which we actually get to see in this trailer). Unfortunately, humanity is stuck smack dab in the middle. However, it seems that perhaps not all of these Titans are out for the destruction of mankind, as we can hear the questioning, “Which of these Titans are here to protect us? And which of these Titans are here to threaten us?”. We will have to wait until May 2019 to find out the answer.
