Want to take a moment and wish Harold Baines a huge congratulations for being elected to the 2019 National Baseball Hall of Fame class!
Although I’m a young man-baby at 24 years of age and best know Harold as a Sox assistant coach during the 2005 World Series and a few years after, I appreciate the history of this man as a Sox legend.
After all, his #3 is retired and he jacked 384 home runs during his career. He’s definitely one of baseball’s good guys and I’m glad to see he’s still around as a team ambassador too.
Speaking of which…let’s have Harold talk to Bryce Harper and Manny Machado too. He can let then know that their place in the Hall will be locked in once he signs with the Sox.
Just think on it, Bryce.
And you too, Manny.
But seriously, big ups to Harold Baines. If you haven’t been to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY…GO!!! It’s baseball heaven.
Maybe I can make it back for Harold’s induction…
