The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have completed their regular season..
Ball State ✅
Wake Forrest ✅
Virginia Tech ✅
Florida State ✅
(They started their season with a 24-17 win and then capped it off with another 24-17 win.)
Do you know what that is? 12-0. UNdefeated. Unblemished. Golden. Perfect.
The Irish set goals for their regular season this year.
The first: Beat Michigan. Accomplished.
The second: Protect South Bend. Perfect.
The third: Win November: Done.
I don’t want to hear “who have they played?” “Their schedule stunk.” This team did not schedule cake walk games, especially at the end of the season.
They beat Michigan right out of the gates. They beat at the time #6 Stanford. They beat at the time Top 25 Va Tech on the road. They beat top 25 on the road Northwestern. And on and on.
I will not apologize for them beating FSU who was down this season, at least they scheduled them. And anyone who says “They barley beat Pitt, they barely beat USC.” Knows nothing about those two rivalry games.
The last game of the season was USC’s Championship game and everyone knew they would bring it. But what did ND do? The weathered the storm and came out on top, like they did every game.
Oh yeah what about that tough test going to NYC to play a top 12 team in Syracuse? What did the Irish do? ROLLED. 36-3 and it wasn’t even that close.
I’m not going to focus on the haters, like CEO Joe. I’m going to focus on this team. These players and this special season, that isn’t done yet.
Drue Tranquill played with pure heart all season. Through injury after injury and never blinked. Leading this team every game with the C on his chest.

Ian Book. Was not even the starter to begin the season, comes in and shows the country that he is one of the best QB’s in college football. Book threw for 2468 yards and 19 touchdowns with a completion percentage north of 70%. He too showed grit and toughness all season long.
Alohi Gilman. The Saftey transfer from Navy in his first season at ND… Lived up to the hype. He balled out every game. Especially against Syracuse, having two interceptions. I felt like every time I watched this defense, #11 was around the ball.
.@AlohiGilman was absolutely dominant on Saturday in NYC with two interceptions for 54-yards and 8 tackles.

Dexter “Juice” Williams, Tavon Coney, Jerry Tillery, Mike Boykin, Chris Fink, Chase Claypool, Alize Mack, Julian Love, Julian Okawara. On and on…
I don’t have enough words to thank every one of these Irish players. I love this team, I truly do. Being a fan for 31 years, this has been one of the most fun seasons I can ever remember. (And maybe that’s also because I was at the Michigan and Syracuse games.)
Love this team, and the guys who made this happen ☘️ 12-0! pic.twitter.com/tlAwOznxRl

But, every ND fan I’ve talked to this year has felt like they are part of this team.
Hey, @TevonConey, what’s our record again?

The boys are currently #3 in the Playoff Poll. They have a “62% chance” of making the College Football Playoff. No they don’t have a conference championship, so now the hard part…
I believe leaving this team out of the playoff would be unbelievably disrespectful and disheartening. Am I saying they will beat Bama?
But after this 12-0 season they should have their chance.
GO IRISH!! uNDfeated.
Proudly in the Heavens
Gleams thy Gold and Blue
Thank you ND. Love- Irish Nation.
