Last Week: 3-1
2018 College Football Season 39-12
I can’t say there are many big match-ups this weekend…cause there isn’t. But that’s ok, we still have college football, lets just be happy about that.
#12 Syracuse vs #3 Notre Dame (-10.5) at Yankee Stadium New York, NY
Notre Dame controls their CFP destiny with two games remaining in the regular season. Quarterback Ian Book didn’t play last week due to a rib injury. Ex-starter Brandon Wimbush stepped up by dominating Florida State (slow clap). Syracuse is having themselves a season, the lose against Pitt can be overlooked, Pitt is good for one upset a season. Cuse’s quarterback Eric Dungey is one of only three QBs with at least 8,000 passing yards ans 1,000 rushing yards (PSU’s McSorley and UCF’s Milton are the other two). Notre Dame has one weakness….
Easy Top 10 worst uniform in college football history.
Syracuse over Notre Dame….Kiss Me, I’m Irish out of the playoffs
#24 Cincinnati at #11 Central Florida (-7)
Speaking of College Football Playoff contenders, Defending National Champion UCF still has a shot at claiming a spot. They’ll be putting their 22-game winning streak on the line against the Bearcats during primetime. The teams ranked ahead could collapse, and UCF could sneak in if they beat Cincinnati and USF. Will the committee finally give UCF some love? Probably not. I’ll be tuning into College GameDay though, I hope UCF fans run Kirk Herbstreit out of Orlando with pitchforks and torches.
Central Florida over Cincinnati
#16 Iowa State at #15 Texas (-3)
Tom Herman has been getting attacked all week from Zach Smith’s twitter rants. Herman brushed it off with possibly the best response.
I hope Herman drops that quote during a post game interview. That would be the ultimate middle finger to Zach Smith. Also, can’t wait for Smith to go another twitter rant during the game.
Ok. Cool. Hook Em!
