Today’s Man Bait is something completely different than any other recipe I’ve ever given you, but there’s a story behind it and you’ll love that I’m sharing it with you when this article is complete.
My step son always asks me to bake cookies with him. It’s something we do quiet often and I know he likes doing it so much because not only do we make our cookie dough from scratch, but I let him eat some of the cookie dough when we’re making the cookies. However, to avoid both of us getting salmonella because of the eggs, I only give him a tiny bit.
So, not too long ago, he and I were in the mood for cookie dough, but not cookies and he had told me he saw some edible cookie dough at the super market. My response was “come on, kiddo – we can totally make that ourselves.”
And so we did.
Yes-today’s Man Bait recipe is edible Chocolate Chip Cookie dough. Screw the cookies and screw the baking because now you can make this easy edible cookie dough recipe and indulge anytime you have a craving.
Side Note: If you’re a man reading this article and don’t immediately make this for your woman, you’re a dumb ass because you’ll def be gettin some lovin’ later. Every woman’s secret craving is eating cookie dough right out of the tub. Imagine having that in your fridge without fear of getting sick? It’s a no brainer.
Recipe: Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (This recipe makes about 3 cups and can be stored in the fridge for up to a week)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a large bowl using hand mixer or standing mixer, cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter until fluffy and smooth.
- Beat in vanilla and salt.
- Beat in the flour a half cup at a time until all is combined and it starts to form a dough, then add the milk until well combined.
- Use a spatula to add in the mini chocolate chips.
- Stuff your face.
