It has been a long 15 days since the last Cowboys game. Even longer after the way they lost to the Redskins…
But tonight, the boys are back. And… They are home. Oh yeah and Amari Cooper is making his debut. LET’S GO!
The Stars at night, are big and bright… Deep in the heart of Texas. And, the Cowboys usually perform very well under the bright primetime lights.
The 3-4 Cowboys are facing off against the 3-4 Titans. The Boys are a 4.5 favorite in this game and do have great matchups.
The Titans have been struggling on offense all season, and the Cowboys young and talented defense has been one of the best in the league. Mariotta has had elbow and hand strength issues all season, however coming off the bye he looks to be the healthiest he has been all year.
Will the Cowboys he able to stop the combination of Derrick Henry and Deion Lewis out of the Tennessee backfield? The two have struggled but have flashed their talent. Sean Lee and the Cowboys young linebackers will need to be on their A game.
Linebacker Sean Lee discusses the #DallasCowboys’ urgency to improve their record and the challenges of defending the Titans’ offense.

On the offensive side of the ball the Cowboys have been a different team at home and on the road. Lucky for us tonight they are home. They need to establish Zeke early and often, impose their will on the Titans defensive line.
Hopefully new addition Amari Cooper will help with this, taking a safety out of the box.

I can’t wait to see how they use Cooper. PLEASE have him stretch the field. PLEASE get he ball in his hands often and let him run! Yes, a 1st rounder was a lot to give up for him but he has a chance to quiet a lot of those critics tonight with a big game on Monday Night Football with the star on his helmet.
Finally… How will a former Cowboy perform tonight? Unfortunately the Jason Witten Monday Night Booth performances this season have been almost un-listenable.
I love Witten, but I mean… It’s been bad. Real bad. Jason, just talk like a person not a robot and please… Look at the camera!
No doubt the crowd at AT&T stadium will give him a big round of applause, like they did Romo last year. So make this your best performance yet Witt. Just talk to us…
Don’t be nervous. Just give us one of your old Primetime gems inside AT&T Stadium.
I mean it can’t get any worse than it’s been… Right?
I think the Cowboys get back on track tonight with a close 3 point win over the Titans. I think Zeke has over 100 yards and Cooper has 6 catches for 63 yards and a touchdown.
The Skins looked awful yesterday and with a win tonight and a win next Sunday night in Philly (can’t believe I’m saying this) the Cowboys are right in the hunt for the division.
Orrrrrr… Lose both and the Raiders get the Cowboys top 10 pick.
Either way, enjoy!
