The NFL Trade deadline is right about now (10/30/2018 at 4pm) and I’m all about that buzz and constantly checking the internet to see who’s going where and what’s happening in the NFL world right now.
Although the NFL is the most watched major league sport, it’s never been able to compete with other major leagues in the trade category. Even after extending the deadline for in-season deals from the Tuesday after Week 6 to the Tuesday after Week 8 back in 2012, the NFL has hardly came close to matching the whirlwind of moves that often comes with NBA, NHL and MLB seasons.
However, in 2018 more teams than ever are shopping around for those “expired” contracts and trying to make the most sensible moves to benefit their future teams and prepare their franchises for the 2019 NFL Draft.
