Guess who’s back? Back again? Orange uniforms are back. Tell a friend.
My fellow Bears fans, I am here to just drop a little reminder that the Bears orange alternate uniforms are BACK on Sunday when they scrap with the Dolphins.

I’m personally excited for the Monsters of the Midway to sport these sexy AF jerseys because they hold a special place in my Bears fandom – my first Bears game was on November 13, 2005 when they faced the San Francisco 49ers at Soldier Field.
The Bears donned the orange alternates and ended up winning the game 17-9 to put themselves at 6-3 and on their way to the playoffs. The game was also known for the 50,000 mph (actually 47 mph) winds that blew throughout the entire contest. And because of those winds, Bears cornerback Nathan Vasher returned a missed field goal for a 108-yard touchdown.
My 11 year-old self and the rest of Soldier Field went bananas. At that time, it set the record for the longest missed field goal return for a touchdown, which was in turn tied by Bears legend Devin Hester and was ultimately broken by Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie (thanks, Pro Football Hall of Fame).
All I’m saying is, the orange uniforms bring a special voodoo Chicago magic whenever they’re worn and they’re gonna bring more magic down to South Beach this Sunday.
A big, orange BEAR DOWN, baby.
