Last week: 4-2
2018 College Football Season 23-6
Blogger note: This will be short since it’s being written on my phone. So in advance….deal with it.
Red River Rivalry
#19 Texas vs #7 Oklahoma at Cotton Bowl in Dallas
Classic rivalry this weekend. This will be the 113th meeting in the series, which began in 1900 (only 8 years were missed since the beginning). Think about that, these two started playing before Oklahoma was a State. Oklahoma quarterback Kyle Murray is one of the best in the nation, he’s coming into this game passing for an average of 294 per game. Texas has been suprisingly better than expected this year, but they can’t compete with a powerhouse.

Oklahoma over Texas
5 LSU at 22 Florida
I’ve learned my lesson, never bet against the Tigers (unless they play Alabama). Gators are hot right now, they’re coming off back-to-back road wins against Tennessee and Mississippi State. Tigers quarterback Joe Burrows is starting to play well at the right time. He lead the Tigers in rushing (96 yards) last week against Ole Miss. This week he’ll be facing a defense that tied for first nationally on take aways and has stopping power in the red zones.

13 Kentucky at Texas A&M
I thought last week was Kentucky’s week to be brought back to earth. Clearly, I was wrong and for that reason I need to redeem myself. Also, being in Lexington this weekend, I’m hoping they win so I can party with the UK faithful. South Carolina wasn’t much of a challenge, they aren’t as good as I thought. Texas A&M is good, especially when they are home. Kentucky has the advantage with this tweet alone.
