FOOTBALL TOWN USA… 4-0!!!

They did it again. Their fourth game of the season, their fourth win of the season. America is starting to realize what I have been saying is true…

Kutztown PA is the new Football Town USA!

After a well deserved bye week, the Kutztown Golden Bears were at it again on Saturday night. They squared off against Bloomsburg at Andre Reed Stadium with their undefeated season on the line.

Kutztown would dominate this game from the opening kickoff until the final whistle.

Kubears.comThe offense rolled up 488 total yards, scoring six touchdowns, four of which came in the first half. On the defensive end, the Maroon and Gold gave up just 196 yards and one score.

That’s what we like to call an old school ass whoopin… And as a KU alumni nothing makes more proud than to see any KU team beat down Bloom!

Our guy Craig Reynolds was up to his old tricks again… This dude is fast. This dude is elusive. This dude is the complete package, an every down back. He carried the ball 18 times for 112 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. Have a day kid!

Your PSAC Offensive Player of the Week. (And he’s humble too.)

Reynolds now has 29 career rushing touchdowns, that puts him second all time in Kutztown history.

The Bears have a problem most teams would love to have… Two great QB’s, and both shined in this game.

Kubears.comThe quarterback duo of DiGalbo and Nickel, each receiving the PSAC East Division Athlete of the Week after KU’s last two games, combined to pass to 10 different receivers on the night.”

Colin DiGalbo went 14-18 for 195 yards and 1 TD. Eric Nickel went 9-11 for 81 yards and 1 TD.

Alstan Wolfe led the Bears in receiving with 6 catches for 50 yards. Craig Reynolds added 2 catches for 48 yards, and Josh Lee hauled in the longest catch of the game… A 45 yarder.

The defense was flying around all night. They didn’t give Bloom a chance to get into the ballgame once.

Kubears.com “Junior cornerback Ahkee Cox-Cowan (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg) had a season-high three pass breakups, giving him the solo spot in third all-time at KU. Junior linebacker Luke Snyder (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) had a career night, finishing with 11 total tackles, leading the charge, twice as many as the next Golden Bears defender. Snyder and Dave Calderon (Willingboro, N.J./Neptune (New Haven)) each had 1.5 sacks and Adam Krauter (Springfield, Pa./Springfield Township) added a sack

Kutztown ran away with the game, winning 44-10.

The Bears have now been nationally ranked for the first time since 2012. And there is no coincidence that they are ranked 23… The number of the GOAT, MJ. Or if you are young… LBJ.
