College Football Week 4

Recap of Last Week: 3-1 (never go against LSU…until they play Bama)

2018 College Football Season 16-3

Week 4 already? Time is flying when you’re having fun, and making money. West Coast has the big game of the weekend. College Game Day agrees, they’ll be in Eugene, Oregon when Stanford comes to town. Luckily, it’s on at 8pm, unlike most West Cost games that are on at 10. So my ass won’t pass out (cause I’m old) halfway thru the game. Big SEC matchup in Tuscaloosa, Texas A&M and Jimbo “Millionaire” Fisher will look to take down the Tide. TCU will head to Texas for the Battle of Texas.  We’ll see if Texas can keep the magic alive (ignore that Maryland game). Finally, I have an upset alert for the weekend, you have to read to find out!

#22 Texas A&M at #1 Alabama

I’ll say it again, Alabama is just too damn good. Tua Tagovailoa is playing lights out, even if he somehow messes up, Jalen Hurts is right there to step in. That’s the thing with Bama, it’s next man up. Nick Saban will always bring in the 5 star recruits to replace your ass if you’re fucking up. Maybe Texas A&M can fair better than Ole Miss last week. Jimbo Fisher has the defense improving every weekend, they certainly be tested facing one of the best offenses in the nation.

#17 TCU at Texas

Even though Texas beat USC last week, they’re still looking to get back to national prominence They can keep the momentum going this week against a beatable TCU. Coming off a good showing against Ohio State, TCU will need to bounce back against the in State foe.

#7 Stanford at #20 Oregon

Bryce Love is back in the line up after sitting out last week due to an undisclosed injury. With him back, he’ll run all over Oregon. In my opinion, Oregon is overrated, for that matter the PAC-12 is pretty weak. I don’t except any team to make the playoff from the conference.

Upset Alert!!

#18 Wisconsin at Iowa

Playing at Iowa is tough, they’re 12-5 at home the last three years. Last year, they beat Ohio State 55-24, and if not for a final TD drive, almost upset Penn State. With Wisconsin losing to Troy last weekend, they’ll be looking for redemption. But when you have the atmosphere and noise at Kinnick Stadium with one of the best (new) traditions in college football, it ain’t gonna be easy.
