Recap of last weeks picks: 4-0
2018 College Football Season: 13-2
Week 3 has a few games postponed or cancelled due to Hurricane Florence.
But don’t you worry, college football is still on in other parts of the country. Three games this weekend will feature both teams ranked. Hope you have two TVs next to each other, LSU v Auburn and Boise State v OK State are on at 3:30pm. Ohio State v TCU and Texas v USC are on at 8. Enjoy going cross eyed this weekend.
#12 LSU at #7 Auburn
Huge conference matchup in the SEC West this week. Winner determines who’s the best team behind Alabama. But it’s not just conference implications, College Football Playoff spots are on the line. LSU’s defense is fast and aggressive, allowing 8.5 points per game. Granted the second game was shutout against SELA, but holding Miami to 17 was impressive. LSU QB Burrows will need to prove the game against Miami wasn’t a fluke and he’s the real deal. They’ll face an Auburn offensive line that struggled against Washington in week 1. This will be a close game, the spread is sitting at -10.5 for Auburn. LSU burned me week 1 against Miami, but Auburn has home-field advantage, and that will be a factor.
A mega football game.
Time to bring it to another level.
It's LSU vs. Auburn.

#17 Boise State at #24 Ok State
I’ll be honest, I never got on the Boise State train. Sure they had the magical season back in 2007, that ended with the Statue of Liberty play.
and again in 2014
Bonus:
That’s all in the past, let’s get back to the present. Boise State is a good team, but when they play anyone from the Power 5, they either struggle or pull something out of their ass to win. The spread is -2 for OK State, a lot of “experts” are picking Boise State. I say, trust the mullet.

#4 Ohio State vs #15 TCU at Jerry Land AT&T Stadium
I hate to admit it, Ohio State is good. They’re probably going to win the Big Ten, which sucks as a Penn State fan, but I’m a realist. National Championship? Not THAT good, Roll Tide! Their offense is ridiculously good, RB Mike Weber is running out of his mind. QB Dwayne Haskins has looked comfortable in the pocket, completing 79.2% of his passes. The defense is dominate and will take advantage of the TCU O-line. Helps having Nick Bosa coming off that edge.
TCU isn’t a push over. They have a high powered offense with an offensive line that hasn’t allowed a sack this season (that’ll probably change tomorrow). QB Shawn Robinson is leading the team in passing and rushing. Don’t let that fool you, TCU has two solid RBs in Darius Anderson and Sewo Olonilua, both have over 100 yards rushing.

#22 USC at Texas
Let’s take a trip down memory lane….
Easily one of the greatest college games I’ve ever watched. Technically, it didn’t happen according to the NCAA. So technically, USC is undefeated against Texas (tell that to a Texas fan with a .45 in his waist).
I’m sure that’s all you’ll hear about leading up to tomorrow’s game. How Vince Young killed the USC dynasty and became the hero of Texas. No complaints from me, I love it when USC loses! History will repeat itself.
