The NCAA are a bunch of money hungry pricks, everyone knows that. They have shown little to zero regard for their athletes. It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you are on when it comes to paying player. Which you shouldn’t but that’s a fight for another day. Today though the NCAA came out with some changes that makes you think they might not be huge pricks, most likely are though.
New NCAA rules give more power and flexibility to college basketball players
This is big. Finally letting kids that aren’t good enough for the NBA a chance to go back to school. Huge news. The question now becomes what is an ‘elite’ prospect? How do you determine an elite vs really good? Also do players that return become free agents? Can they just be signed at any point after that? Someone gets hurt and an NBA team goes and signs a guy on a college roster? Not perfect but definitely better. One and done is on the NBA now. What is it gonna be Silver?
